About Homeopathy:

Homeopathy is a holistic therapy that acknowledges the relationship between our mental, emotional, and physical health.  By looking at these facets as one, homeopathy focuses on the “entire person”.  It stimulates our natural healing abilities and promotes health on all levels.

Homeopathic remedies have been successfully used to treat and ease discomfort of many diseases.  These include acute conditions such as teething, ear infections, colds, and flu, etc; as well as more chronic conditions, such as insomnia, depression, anxiety, menstrual irregularities and PMS.  It is also a useful first aid for bumps and bruises, concussion, sprains, bites, and stings, etc.

What to Expect:

During the initial interview, there is a gathering of information which is used to paint a picture of what makes you unique.  Mental and emotional, as well as physical issues are discussed, along with some general health and life history.  This session may last up to two hours.

Based on this information, a homeopathic remedy will be recommended that most closely matches your profile.  Information and support are offered to ensure the proper use of the remedy.

Residing in the midst of the beautiful Ocooch Mountains, Karen strives for a sustainable lifestyle, dabbling in organic gardening, and carpentry.  She lives with 3 perfectly wonderful people, Lucas(13), Raina (11) and Ed (who is usually somewhere between 12 and 50).  They hope to finish their house someday.  In the meantime, they enjoy living a bit rustic, and doing their best to remember the important things.

Testimonials:

“As a therapist in town I have referred many clients to Karen for both physical and emotional challenges. For each one of my clients Karen has offered a compassionate ear, a warm and comforting nature and a remedy that works. She is incredibly gifted.”
- S. Townsley, LCSW

“I had tried homeopathy before, but my experience with Karen was completely different.  I could tell that her storehouse of knowledge would be invaluable.  I was thrilled to see such results, after years of seeking help for my skin.  But it isn't simply her ability to choose the appropriate remedy that makes Karen a unique practitioner. She is also accessible to address questions and concerns, and to provide emotional guidance and support through the process.  I couldn't ask to be held in better hands.”
- P. Tippens
